This summer, Baxter Construction is proud to welcome Ryan Hanson to the team as our newest construction intern. A rising senior at South Dakota State University, Ryan is majoring in Construction Management and brings with him a lifelong connection to the building industry.

Ryan’s passion for construction started early. Having grown up around job sites and building projects, he developed a deep appreciation for the process of turning ideas into tangible structures. That passion led him to SDSU, where he’s now honing both the technical and practical skills needed to lead construction projects from start to finish.

Ryan is diving into a hands-on internship focused on the entire project lifecycle from conceptual design to project execution. He’ll be learning alongside our experienced team, gaining valuable insights into scheduling, site coordination, project management, and client collaboration.

“I’ve always been drawn to the construction field because every day brings a new challenge,” Ryan shared. “This internship is a great opportunity to apply what I’ve learned in school and gain experience I’ll carry with me into my career.”
