Phase One: Bringing a Vision to Life

Phase One of Ovation opened its doors in mid-July, marking a significant milestone in this prestigious project. Spanning approximately 120,000 square feet, this phase includes two-thirds of the 151 independent living apartments, offering residents a vibrant and engaging environment to enjoy their golden years.

Our team at Baxter Construction was instrumental in bringing this vision to life, ensuring that every aspect of the construction met the highest standards of quality and safety. The result is a stunning living space where residents can thrive in comfort and style.

Overcoming Challenges

In April 2022, a fire caused significant damage just before Ovation was set to open. Baxter Construction was called upon to restore and rebuild the affected areas, breathing new life into the project. Our team worked diligently to reconstruct and enhance the damaged spaces, maintaining the high standards expected by Ovation.

This reconstruction effort included rebuilding 68 total apartments and 20,000 square feet of common spaces. Despite the challenges posed by the fire, we successfully delivered a finished product that exemplifies our commitment to quality and resilience.

Looking Ahead: Phase Two

The journey doesn’t end here. With Phase One complete, we are now focused on Phase Two, which is set to be completed in October 2024. This phase will include the addition of a wellness center, more independent living apartments, and the completion of the pool and fitness area, along with an additional 80,000 square feet of remodeled spaces. We are eager to continue our work on this project and further contribute to the growth of the Ovation community.
