This June, we had the privilege of sponsoring the DMACC CEO Golf Invitational for the tenth consecutive year, an exclusive event dedicated to supporting student scholarships at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).
A Tradition of Giving Back
For a decade, Baxter Construction has been proud to partner with DMACC in their mission to provide educational opportunities to students who strive to achieve their dreams. This annual golf tournament, held at the beautiful Talons Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa, brings together business leaders and community members to raise funds that directly impact students’ lives.

Highlighting Our Signature Drink
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the return of our Project Administrator, Melanie Dunphy, and her celebrated Signature Drink. Known for her creativity and passion, Melanie has earned the coveted award for “Best Drink” three years in a row! Her unique concoctions have become a staple at the tournament, adding a touch of Baxter’s flair to the event.
